Dofollow or Nofollow

What is your blog? Dofollow or nofollow? Are you thinking of making a change?

But everything comes with its pros & cons. No doubt, if you make your blog dofollow you will see high increase in your traffic. There are two ways through which more traffic will come. First of all, someone who visits your blog will come again to find new posts to comment. It will increase the number of your regular readers. Besides, u can submit your blog to dofollow search engines or directories & lists. You will get more backlinks & consequently more visitors.

But it will surely degrade your comment quality unless you moderate hard enough. Comments like ” thanks!” or “Great info!” will be posted in great numbers. And you will find it really hard to find who really thanked you after all :)

These are unconventional spam. Conventional spammers will try to target your site more. If you are using WordPress, you will need to find a strong combination of anti-spam plugins.

So, as you can see, you have to take bad with good too. Do you want traffic in quick time? Use dofollow & fight spam. Use nofollow & handle less spam. But then, no quick hike in traffic!

I just wanted to say that I myself was wondering about the dofollow or nofollow settings, I believe having a high influx of spam would degrade the integrity of your blog but on the other hand the increase in traffic would be great!
