WordPress team has just released a plugin to verify your WordPress blog in Google Webmaster Tools without having to copy paste any code manually. It requires only a few clicks and you can directly do it from WordPress admin dashboard. If you have multiple blogs, this WordPress plugin can reduce a lot of headaches. But remember this plugin can only be used with self-hosted WordPress blogs and WordPress.com free hosted blogs don’t support this plugin. [...]
I don’t like to write any technical stuff here. I just try to share what I find amusing online or some blogging or webmaster stuffs in general. But I will talk a bit on it today as it is related to Java hosting. It’s basically a Java Exception that might break your JSP-based web application if you have recently upgraded to Tomcat 7 from Tomcat 6 or more prior version. Have you got something like this in your Tomcat log file when you are trying to open a JSP page: [...]
In February I wrote a post updating you about the implementation of Google’s high-quality sites algorithm that you call as Panda update
. At that time it was rolled out only to Google.com users in the USA. A few days back Google has rolled it out for all users using Google search in English whether they are from English speaking countries or non-English speaking countries. [...]
Today I discovered this cool feature in Skype. Generally, when you want to take a screenshot in Windows you use Print Screen button. It copies the image in clipboard and then you have to save it to some image editing software like MS-Paint. After that you can use it as you wish or send the image to someone. But if you are using Skype to send a screenshot to your contact, you can skip that saving image part. Just do a Print Screen and go to your Skype chat window. Do a CTRL+V or right click there and paste it. Skype will directly convert it to a PNG image from the clipboard and now you can send it to your buddy
Today I will share a free YouTube video to mp3 conversion service that I use frequently. This service is pretty cool and more importantly fast. When you go to that site, you will find the text box to enter the YouTube video url. And you will get two options to convert:
- Standard Quality
- High Quality

It’s pretty troublesome actually! I had to spend quite a few minutes to find this option out. Even Facebook Help page was not of much help. I went through it, but it was not clear. I had to make some Google searches and eventually I found it out. So I thought of sharing it with you if by chance you are trying to hide Facebook friends list from others, including your friends

Around a year ago I wrote a post on Google Page Speed. That is basically a performance test through which Google analyzes your webpage content and based on that Google gives you a score and suggestion on how you can improve your page load speed by altering your webpage elements. But for that you had to previously install add-on on your Firefox browser, but now this feature has become browser independent. You can use this cool web-based version of Page Speed that has been introduced in Google Labs. Just go there and enter the url of the site that you want to do a speed test of. Then Google will check your page and return a grade out of 100 with summary of how you can increase the speed performance. [...]
It’s hard! It’s really getting damn hard for me! The days are passing by and I am getting more and more lazy to write a nice little blog post. Everyday I think I will write tomorrow, but tomorrow never dies! But Google has just rolled out another feature to socialize and personalize their search even more. And that made me do this post

Many of you might have read that data from around 150,000 Gmail accounts got disappeared recently. Obviously that was temporary
But I can now afford a smile because I know about the issue. That was surely not the case that all those Gmail users might have felt when they opened their mailbox and found it empty, and they had no idea what had happened. [...]
As a blogger you might feel the need of capturing screenshots of web pages very frequently and show them as reference to your readers. It always gives your blog a good visual look and feel. I have to admit I don’t add that many screenshots myself in this blog. But I am not claiming that this blog looks great or you should follow my example. I am just too lazy
